With the democratization of social networks, we have all become potential citizen journalists. In this workshop we will discover the Responsibility that this Power imposes on us. Have you ever stumbled upon very suspicious news, that ended up convincing you because everybody else shared it? Do you feel that there is so much information in social networks that it’s impossible to know what to believe? Don't worry, this course is designed to take things easy and teach us how to navigate this constantly changing media landscape.

This course is designed to discuss MIL with school and college educators, and present ways to teach it effectively in our classrooms. We will explain in what ways the Peruvian National Curriculum currently embraces MIL concepts, and we will provide you with interactive tools to apply in your classes with your students.
The route is designed so that educators can propose a MIL project at the end of the session.
